Getting it done: ProSys Information Systems (VARBusiness 500 No. 96) was honored as last year's VARBusiness 500 Company of the Year for its astounding growth and channel innovation. But the buck hasn't stopped there. In 2006, ProSys sold more than $225 million in HP products and the company continues to grow, with plans to open two or three additional locations in 2007. Clery says she expects to see ProSys' revenue rise by another $25 million this year.

But what ultimately makes ProSys successful is its people, Clery says.

"We have little to no turnover within our sales and technical staff. So once our customers develop a relationship with our sales teams and project managers, they know those will be the same people they will deal with, project after project," she explains. "We've only been in business nine years, and our average sales rep has more than five years tenure."

Clery says ProSys also makes a point to stay connected with customers through a monthly newsletter and with manufacturers, including VMWare, Microsoft and Cisco, through CIO breakfast roundtables.

"In addition, we have a quarterly planning session with the key decision makers at our top 20 customers so that we can understand their technology budgets and where they are going over the next 18 to 24 months," Clery says.

For 2007, Clery says she plans to continue growing the company's VMWare and Cisco IP practices, as well as expand its HP storage and Unix businesses.
