Remote Access For All, Large and Small

F5 Networks has announced an upgrade to its FirePass Controller remote-access solution. The new release of F5's Secure Sockets Layer Virtual Private Network addresses enterprises' expanding application-access requirements and features enhanced performance, doubled capacity, client-side trust management and added integration.

F5 also announced a new version of the FirePass Controller designed for the SMB space. The FirePass 600 system can handle up to 25 concurrent sessions and delivers a turnkey remote-access solution with a small footprint.

FirePass Controller starts at $9,990. Existing FirePass customers can purchase a 1,000-concurrent user license add-on. The FirePass 600 Series products cost $3,995 for 10 concurrent users and $5,495 for 25 concurrent users. FirePass service contracts start at $645.
