Under the terms of the agreement, iGov.com will promote SSH Secure Shell, SSH SentinelTM VPN Client, SSH CertifierTM CA and SSH Accession authentication application products in its catalog of GSA-authorized Internet security solutions for U.S. government customers worldwide.

"Coupling SSH's strengths, iGov's sales and sales support staff, and our rich contract portfolio creates a winning solution for the government, SSH and iGov," says Jack Pooley, vice president of iGov.com.

A number of government organizations procure their security purchases through iGov.com, under its GSA IT contract. SSH Communications Security hopes the inclusion of SSH Secure Shell among iGov.com's broad catalog of products will expand SSH's visibility and customer base in the government sector.

"SSH has had a long standing commitment to providing superior security solutions to the U.S. government," says George Adams, president and CEO of SSH Communications Security, Inc. "This partnership with iGov will allow more government organizations easy access to SSH Secure Shell, a crucially important tool in securing the transmission of vital communications and data among U.S. government agencies."

SSH Secure Shell has been the encryption product of choice for government institutions including the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, Department of Defense, Department of Justice and NASA.
