Jamf Names Beth Tschida As New CEO

‘Everything we're doing is built on the trust we've earned over two decades of making Apple simple, secure, and connected at scale,' said Tschida. 'I'm energized by what's ahead.'

Jamf has announced the appointment of Beth Tschida as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Tschida has served as interim CEO since March 2026 and was previously the Apple-first platform’s chief technology officer for four and a half years.

She succeeds John Strosahl, who led the company through its transition to private ownership following Francisco Partners' acquisition, completed in January 2026.

The new CEO joined Jamf in 2018 as VP of software engineering. She was then promoted to SVP for engineering, cloud & delivery until becoming CTO in 2022.

Tschida becomes the first woman to lead the company in its more than 20-year history and joins CIO Linh Lam as Jamf’s second woman on its leadership team.

Stepping into the top job, Tschida acknowledges the challenge of AI’s influence globally, and addresses how the vendor will face this trial.

"Over the last eight years, I've had the privilege of working with an exceptional team to build the leading platform for managing and securing Apple at work," said Tschida in a statement. "Now, AI is reshaping how organizations work, and we are making AI work on Apple.”

“Everything we're doing is built on the trust we've earned over two decades of making Apple simple, secure, and connected at scale,” she continued. “I'm energized by what's ahead."

"Beth and I have worked together for more than seven years, and I know she's the right person to lead Jamf into its next chapter,” said former CEO Strosahl. “This company is in a healthy position with reaccelerating growth and a strategy that's delivering results. Beth played a central role in getting us here. I'm proud of what this team has accomplished and excited to watch what comes next."
