30 Notable IT Executive Moves: April 2025

Nasuni, Cyera, Mimecast, SAP, Kyndryl and Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. were among the tech companies making key executive hires and moves in April 2025.

A New Nasuni CEO. Cyera’s new channel chief. And a combination chief product and technology officer at Mimecast.

Taking those top spots, respectively, were Sam King, formerly of Veracode; Dave Rogers, formerly of Palo Alto Networks; and Ranjan Singh, formerly of Kaseya.

April Tech Executive Moves

SAP, Kyndryl and Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. were among other tech giants to make significant executive moves during the month as companies invested in talent for overseeing sales, technology and partners.

Those executives were:

The April U.S. jobs report showed the economy added 177,000 nonfarm payrolls in April, more than the 138,000 expected and showing resilience to global tariffs, according to Yahoo Finance. The unemployment rate held steady at 4.2 percent.

Sam King

Nasuni made King its new CEO in April.

King joined the Boston-based storage and data services products vendor after about five years as CEO of Veracode, according to her LinkedIn account.

King had initially joined Veracode in 2006—the year the company was founded—as vice president of service delivery, according to her LinkedIn profile. She went on to hold a series of roles at the company, leading up to her appointment as chief strategy officer in 2015 and then as CEO in 2019.

Nasuni’s 2025 channel goals include increasing the overall percentage of company revenue that comes through the channel and improving partner profitability, according to CRN’s Channel Chiefs.

Joyous Chiu-Rothell

Chiu-Rothell became vice president of strategic financial planning and business operations at Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A.

Chiu-Rothell joined the Ramsey, N.J.-based company—No. 130 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500—after about two years with Desktop Metal. She left Desktop Metal with the title of vice president of global revenue operations, according to her LinkedIn account.

Her resume includes about 23 years with Electronics For Imaging. She left EFI in 2023 with the title of sales chief of staff and vice president of sales operations.

John Morton

Morton returned to General Dynamics IT in April, taking on the role of vice president of enterprise technology.

Morton joined the Falls Church, Va.-based company—No. 14 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500—after about six years with Leidos, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Leidos with the title of vice president of enterprise infrastructure.

He previously worked at GDIT for about 11 years. He left in 2017 as a program director.

Dave Rogers

Rogers became channel chief of Cyera in April.

Rogers joined the New York-based security vendor after about a year with Palo Alto Networks, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Palo Alto Networks with the title of senior vice president of alliances ecosystems.

His resume includes about seven years with Netskope, leaving the security vendor in 2024 with the title of senior vice president of global alliances and channel sales.

Cyera has about 70 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Shellon Blanchard-Clarke

Kyndryl in April brought on Blanchard-Clarke as vice president of human resources global practices.

Blanchard-Clarke joined the New York-based company—No. 9 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500—after about two years with Human Ingenuity Advisors, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Human Ingenuity with the title of fractional HR executive and executive coach.

Her resume includes about two years with Accenture. She left Accenture with the title of managing director and HR lead for a financial services client.

Ranjan Singh

Singh joined Mimecast in April, taking on the role of chief product and technology officer.

Singh came to the England-based security vendor after about four years with Kaseya, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Kaseya with the title of chief product officer.

His resume includes about two years with Crestron Electronics. He left Crestron in 2021 with the title of executive vice president of product and technology.

Mimecast has about 4,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Jessica Colón

Colón joined SAP in April, taking on the role of vice president of sales for supply chain management (SCM) sales in the Midwest.

The Germany-based enterprise application vendor brought on Colón after she worked at Rockwell Automation for about 19 years. She left Rockwell with the title of industry sales manager.

She started at Rockwell in 2006 as a sales engineer.

SAP has about 25,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Patrick Chang

In April, Chang joined Zscaler, taking on the role of vice president of product strategy for Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX).

The San Jose, Calif.-based security vendor brought on Chang after he worked at Palo Alto Networks for about seven years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Palo Alto Networks with the title of vice president of worldwide technical solutions for Prisma Cloud and Cortex.

His resume includes about a year with StackRox, leaving the company in 2018 as senior director of product management. StackRox was bought by Red Hat in 2021.

Zscaler has about 3,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN's 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Oliver Tuszik

Cisco promoted Tuszik to the role of executive vice president of global sales in April, taking over the duties previously held by Cisco President of Go-To-Market Gary Steele.

Tuszik has worked at the San Jose, Calif.-based networking giant for about 12 years. He had been Cisco’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region president starting in August 2023, according to his LinkedIn account.

His resume includes about 11 years at Computacenter Germany, with five of those years as CEO. He left the solution provider in 2013.

Cisco’s 2025 channel goals include enabling partners to develop an AI strategy and sell AI solutions and improving partner profitability, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Chris Krebs

Krebs exited SentinelOne in April after serving as chief intelligence and public policy officer amid a public battle with the administration of President Donald Trump.

Krebs started the job with the Mountain View, Calif.-based security vendor in November 2023 but had served as a SentinelOne advisory board member dating back to June 2021, according to his LinkedIn account.

He served as the first director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) from its formation in November 2018 under the first Trump presidency until November 2020.

Craig Foster

Pax8 hired Craig as its new CFO in April.

Foster joined the Greenwood Village, Colo.-based IT distributor after about four years as CFO of PicsArt, accordingto his LinkedIn account.

His resume includes about two years with Bright Machines as CFO.

Pax8 has about 38,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

John Sapone

In April, NinjaOne brought on Sapone as CRO.

Sapone came to the Austin, Texas-based MSP tools vendor after previously serving as senior vice president of sales at Snowflake for about five years, according to his LinkedIn account.

His resume includes about five years with ServiceNow, leaving in 2019 as vice president of Americas commercial sales.

NinjaOne’s 2025 channel goals include increasing the amount of professional services going through partners, increasing the amount of recurring revenue going through partners and increasing the amount of net new accounts coming through partners, according to CRN’s Channel Chiefs.

Meredith Brown

Brown returned to Salesforce in April, taking on the role of senior vice president of the vendor’s Trailhead training platform and community.

Brown came to the San Francisco-based AI and enterprise application vendor after about a year with Smartsheet, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Smartsheet with the title of vice president of product management.

Her previous Salesforce stint lasted about nine years. She left the company in 2022 with the title of senior vice president and general manager of Salesforce’s Pardot, a marketing automation platform that became part of Marketing Cloud.

Salesforce has about 16,000 partners worldwide.

Alex Weinert

Weinert joined Semperis in April, taking on the role of chief product officer.

Weinert came to the Hoboken, N.J.-based identity security vendor after about 30 years with Microsoft, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Microsoft with the title of vice president and director of identity security.

He started at Microsoft in 1995 as a software engineer. His early Microsoft days included working on Microsoft Site Server, according to his LinkedIn account.

Semperis’ 2025 channel goals include focusing on a small number of elite partners and launching new certifications and partner levels, according to CRN’s Channel Chiefs.

Maria Oczko-Canant

HP in April hired Oczko-Canant as vice president of sales compensation and planning.

The Palo Alto, Calif.-based computer maker recruited Oczko-Canant after she worked at Workiva for about four years, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Workiva with the title of vice president of go-to-market sales planning and performance.

Her resume includes about six years with Xactly. She left the company in 2021 with the title of director of strategic services.

HP’s 2025 channel goals include increasing the amount of net-new accounts coming through partners and working together with channel partners to continue reshaping the way customers work, ensuring solutions are built for the future of work, according to CRN’s Channel Chiefs.

Gareth Davies

In April, Okta brought on Davies as its new chief product officer for Auth0.

Davies came to the San Francisco-based identity security vendor after about two years with TransUnion. He left TransUnion with the title of senior vice president of product.

His resume includes about a year with Crisp. He left the retail analytics software vendor in 2022 with the title of chief product officer.

Josh Hardy

Kaseya hired Hardy in April as senior vice president of product marketing.

Hardy joined the Miami-based MSP tools vendor after about five years with Mereo, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Mereo with the title of principal consultant for go-to-market.

His resume includes about four years with Axway. He left the company in 2020 with the title of senior vice president of global marketing.

Kaseya has about 50,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Eric Doerr

Tenable brought on Doerr in April as chief product officer.

Doerr joined the Columbia, Md.-based security vendor after previously working at Google for about two years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Google with the title of vice president and general manager for the Google security operations business.

His resume includes about five years with Microsoft. He left Microsoft in 2022 with the title of corporate vice president of cloud security.

About 100 percent of Tenable’s revenue is from channel and alliance partners, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Kate Sneider

Sneider joined MicroAge in April, taking on the role of vice president of marketing.

Sneider came to the Phoenix-based company––a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500–after about 18 years with TD Synnex and predecessor companies.

In 2007, she joined Avnet Technology Solutions as a solutions marketing manager. In 2017, Tech Data acquired the technology solutions business.

Josh Smith

CDW brought on Smith in April as senior vice president of talent and co-worker success.

The Vernon Hills, Ill.-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—hired Smith after he worked at Sedgwick for about four years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Sedgwick with the title of head of Americas human resources and global head of talent.

His resume includes about 15 years with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. He left the firm in 2021 with the title of associate vice president of HR and head of talent acquisition and the “Blue University” employee education program.

Dave Hirko

In April, Peraton hired Hirko as its new CTO and vice president for defense mission and health solutions.

The Reston, Va.-based company—No. 23 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500—brought on Hirko after he co-founded and led Zectonal for about four years, according to his LinkedIn account.

His resume includes about three years with Amazon Web Services. He left AWS in 2014 with the title of senior account executive for the U.S. intelligence community.

Dan Grandquist

TTEC Digital made Grandquist vice president of technology consulting in April.

The Austin, Texas-based company—No. 23 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500—recruited Grandquist after he worked at Salesforce for about 10 years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Salesforce with the title of engagement senior director.

His resume includes about a year with IBM. He left the vendor in 2015 with the title of senior application architect.

Daniel Stoke

Stoke joined Computer Task Group (CTG) in April, taking on the role of vice president of health care.

The Amherst, N.Y.-based company—No. 88 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500—brought on Stoke after he worked at Nordic Global for about three years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Nordic with the title of chief growth officer.

His resume includes about three years with Leidos. He left the company in 2022 as a sales executive and national leader for digital health solutions.

Meghan Brown

Bluum brought on Brown as its new vice president of operations in April.

Brown came to the Phoenix-based company—No. 9 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500—after about 17 years with C1 and predecessor companies. She left C1 with the title of senior procurement operations manager, according to her LinkedIn account.

She came to C1 through the acquisition of Strategic Products and Services (SPS) in 2017, which she joined through the acquisition of Adcap Network Systems in 2015.

Ali Khansari

Khansari joined Arctiq in April as vice president of financial planning and analysis.

Khansari came to the Irvine, Calif.-based company––a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after about six years with Softchoice, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Softchoice with the title of senior director of corporate finance.

His resume includes about three years with PepsiCo. He left the company in 2019 with the title of finance manager for performance management and FP&A.

Kristopher Stam

C1 brought on Stam in April as vice president of professional services.

Stam came to the Bloomington, Minn.-based company––a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after about four years with Presidio, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Presidio with the title of director of professional services.

His resume includes about three years with World Wide Technology. He left WWT in 2021 with the title of services technical product manager.

Gianni Piccininni

Conduent hired Piccininni in April as vice president of solutions.

The Florham Park, N.J.-based company––No. 24 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500—brought on Piccininni after he worked at DXC Technology and predecessor companies for about nine years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left SXC with the title of global health care and life sciences go-to-market lead.

His resume includes about a year as director of technology for National Government Services’ Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Virtual Data Center (VDC) Infrastructure Enterprise Services (VIES) contract.

Brian Hussey

Hussey joined Cyderes in April, taking on the role of senior vice president of the Cyber Fusion team.

Hussey came to the Kansas City, Mo.-based company—No. 93 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500—after about five years with SentinelOne. He left SentinelOne with the title of vice president of threat hunting, according to his LinkedIn account.

His resume includes about six years with Trustwave, leaving the company in 2020 with the title of vice president of cyber threat detection and response.

Graham Francis

NCC Group hired Francis in April as its senior vice president for global managed security services.

The England-based company—No. 102 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–—ecruited Francis after he worked at Atos for about three years. He left Atos with the title of head of digital security for Northern Europe, according to his LinkedIn account.

His resume includes about two years with Entrust. He left the vendor in 2022 as a sales developer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Ryan Murphy

In April, Murphy became senior vice president of pre-sales services at Ensono.

The Downers Grove, Ill.-based company––a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—brought on Murphy after he worked at Red River for about a year, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Red River with the title of vice president of strategic sales.

His resume includes about 10 years with Capgemini. He left the company in 2023 with the title of chief sales officer, where he was “tasked with leading a diverse team of 120 direct sales executives, solution architects and pre-sales bid (managers) dedicated to growing the cloud, cyber security and digital transformation business of Capgemini throughout North America.”
