Nvidia-Backed AI Startup n8n Raises $180M, Hits $2.5B Valuation
The red-hot startup raised $180 million in a Series C funding round unveiled Thursday with Nvidia’s venture capital arm participating.
One of Europe’s fastest-growing AI startups, n8n, raised $180 million in a Series C funding round unveiled Thursday to bring the startup’s valuation to $2.5 billion.
The Germany-based company is backed by AI superstar Nvidia, whose venture capital arm, NVentures, participated in the funding round.
“This investment recognizes something fundamental: The AI race isn’t only about smarter models—it’s about who can actually put that intelligence to work reliably, inside actual businesses,” said n8n founder and CEO Jan Oberhauser in a blog post Thursday.
This year, Oberhauser said his company increased revenue by 10X and user growth by 6X. Right now n8n has over 3,000 enterprise clients, including Softbank and Vodafone.

“The formula we’ve proven is straightforward: combine AI, code and humans in the same process, on the same platform,” Oberhauser said. “Technical builders handle architecture whilst domain experts configure and refine. That’s coordination, and it only succeeds when the orchestration layer is flexible enough to evolve with your needs.”
In addition to Nvidia, the Series C funding round was led by Accel along with Meritech, Redpoint, Evantic and Visionaries Club.
As of March 2025, the AI startup had over 230,000 active users with annual recurring revenue of more than $40 million.
Who Is AI Startup n8n?
Founded in 2019 by Oberhauser, n8n provides solutions to help businesses automate tasks via its AI orchestration platform.
“We’re the platform our community and enterprises tell us finally helps them deploy AI in production,” said Oberhauser.
Built with the precision of code and the speed of drag-and-drop, n8n gives users more freedom to implement multistep AI agents and integrate apps than any other tool, according to the company.
The company’s customers can create customized workflows that connect their own databases with platforms like Google Docs and Slack.
N8n Raised $240 Million Since 2019
In March 2025, n8n raised roughly $60 million in a Series B funding round.
The startup has now raised a total of over $240 million over the past six years.
“Billions have been poured into AI tools by businesses and governments, but many organizations are struggling to see meaningful results,” said Oberhauser in a statement.
“The fundamental challenge for the largest organizations isn’t accessing AI, it’s orchestrating it effectively,” he said. “N8n allows teams to build their own adaptable infrastructure for AI, developing truly flexible, customizable systems that re-create how organizations work.”
