DXC’s LabX Ups The Volume On AI With ElevenLabs Voice Agent Partnership

‘This is essentially the ability to have a human-like adaptive conversation with AI that sounds very natural and that can meet users in the language they are speaking,’ says Holly Grant, DXC’s new president of AI innovation and strategy and of DXC’s LabX.

Global technology services provider DXC Technology Tuesday launched a partnership with ElevenLabs, a New York-based developer of an AI voice generator and voice agent platform.

Holly Grant, who Monday was named DXC’s new president of AI innovation and strategy and of DXC’s LabX, told CRN that the Ashburn, Va.-based company plans to build a robust business around the ElevenLabs technology, both for internal use and to bring to clients.

“It’s going to become part of the platform business we’re building in LabX,” said Grant (pictured above). “It’s really about curating a set of AI tools and technologies that we believe are best in class, and bringing them to DXC as customer zero, but also to our customers as embedded parts of the solutions that we provide.”

DXC Technology is listed as No. 16 in CRN’s 2026 Solution Provider 500.

LabX launched in April as DXC’s AI-native product incubator, Grant said.

“LabX was built around ideation when it comes to frontier technology,” she said. “It’s like a visioning process. What are the experiments that we can run as part of bringing more AI capabilities to our customers, and what does the technology allow? Because AI keeps getting better, the frontier keeps moving, and we’re trying to keep pace with that.”

LabX is essentially DXC’s internal lab for that type of experimentation, Grant said.

“The idea was that some of that experimentation would be commercially valuable, and we would bring it into our business lines and serve our customers with it,” she said. “And some of it we would not be able to use, so then we would try the next thing. And then we decided that LabX will become the home for relationships with Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Amazon Quick, Microsoft Copilot, and other tools and technologies that we use today that we think are game changing in different ways that we want to bring to our customers.”

DXC plans to use the ElevenLabs technology to advance the concept of voice agents, Grant said.

“This is essentially the ability to have a human-like adaptive conversation with AI that sounds very natural and that can meet users in the language they are speaking,” she said. “ElevenLabs supports 130 different languages, if I’m not mistaken. They offer an AI-powered conversational system, and also have specific voice models they have trained that are industry best-in-class.”

DXC has had a relationship with ElevenLabs for some time, Grant said. For instance, she said, DXC President and CEO Raul Fernandez has used ElevenLabs voice technology to read DXC’s earnings transcripts for the past three quarters.

“Raul was an early pioneer in bringing that voice technology into a formal earnings moment,” she said. “But we’re also using it as part of DXC’s service desk offerings and customer experience offerings today. We think voice is a really important part of making AI more human-like in terms of its interaction capabilities and being able to meet people where they are.”

Fernandez trained the ElevenLabs AI model on his voice, and that model can be used to sound like he’s reading his script, Grant said.

“He prepares his script, and then he shares that script with the model, and the model delivers it in his own voice, which is pretty neat,” she said.

What’s new on Tuesday is that DXC is introducing a formal business plan for a joint go-to-market relationship with ElevenLabs, Grant said.

“We’re formalizing what started as an organic relationship because we were passionate users of the technology, and we’re now making that a business relationship,” she said. “We also invested in their most recent funding round as well.”

Grant said DXC is not able to disclose its exact investment in ElevenLabs, which has raised $850 million to date giving it a valuation of $13 billion, according to PitchBook. Other recent investors in ElevenLabs include Nvidia, BlackRock and actor Jamie Foxx.

“The ElevenLabs relationship is a model we will consider investing in with regards to other frontier technologies as we move forward because we think that’s a really interesting alignment of incentives,” she said.

CRN has reached out to ElevenLabs for comment.

DXC expects to be able to offer the first fruits of its new ElevenLabs relationship to customers within the first 90 days of formalizing the relationship, Grant said.

“We want to match ElevenLabs’ startup speed,” she said. “Part of what partners like ElevenLabs brings is a real sense of urgency, and the pace at which they move is pretty profound.”

LabX is also central to DXC’s fast-track initiatives, which are initiatives outside of DXC’s core business aimed at bringing new AI technologies to customers, Grant said.

“The idea is that these initiatives require a different pace, governance system, and level of investment to actually move in this new era,” she said. “That was part of why LabX was created in the first place as an extension of that strategy because we knew we needed a home for experimentation.”
