D&H Launches Vista Promotions For Resellers

The Harrisburg, Pa., distributor's Vista Sales Driver promotion include bundles on Vista PCs and required system components such as memory, hard drives, LCD displays, multicore CPUs and graphic cards.

The promotion runs until Feb 28. Resellers can check with manufacturers such as Kingston, Western Digital, ViewSonic, Intel, AMD and ATI for rebates, D&H said.

D&H is also offering resellers Vista training sessions, sales strategies and product information. D&H sales representatives have been trained on Vista to allow them to act as consultants to their reseller accounts.

Customers can also log into www.dandh.com to access the distributor's Microsoft site for information.

Although many partners maintain business adoption won't begin until the Vista service pack is released later this year, some partners are wasting no time.

"A lot of smaller customers are saying they won't do it but more of my progressive reellers are finding opportunities and grabbing it," said Todd Swank, director of marketing at Nortech, Burnsville, Minn.
