Former eEye, Citrix Exec Surfaces At Microsoft

As vice president of solution and ISV partners in the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft, Brown will be responsible for developing and leading Microsoft's global partner account managers who work with ISVs, system integrators, and solution partners.

Brown, who couldn't be reached for comment, will report to Allison Watson, corporate vice president of Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Group.

Brown's resume includes a three-year stint at Citrix Systems, where he served as vice president of worldwide sales and channel operations. Brown also spent two years as a worldwide channel marketing manager at IBM, and has been working as a private channel consultant since leaving eEye in April 2007.

At Citrix, Brown expanded rebate and incentive programs and boosted rewards for top resellers. At eEye, Brown implemented channel friendly changes to the vendor's deal registration program and inked a distribution deal with Alternative Technology to help recruit new solution provider partners.
