Adobe, Facebook Partner On Flash Developer Tools For Social Apps
Developers for ActionScript 3.0 can now more easily build rich Flash experiences to access the social features of Facebook Platform from external Web sites using Facebook Connect, from applications on Facebook or from desktop applications, according to Facebook. The ActionScript 3.0 Client Library for Facebook Platform is free and available for download.
"We've seen a great community of people try to build tools to help developers more easily build with Flash. There's some great open-source libraries around Action Script but working with [Adobe] we're excited about how we can make it more officially supported," Elman said in the video.
This library supports all Facebook API methods and will be updated as new features are released on Facebook Platform.
