Manticore Updates Hosted Ecommerce Engine

One vendor that didn't disappear along with online pet supplies is Manticore Technology. On Monday the Austin, Texas-based company announced version 4.0 of its Virtual Commerce Master - hosted software that helps companies derive the greatest revenue from their online sales efforts.

The new version now includes more than 145 Web site reports, including conversion funnels, click-path analysis and page-view analysis. A new advanced revenue analysis feature will show which products and product categories generate the most revenue. The enhanced Manticore Rules Engine now can generate complex actions and incentives designed to prevent customers from abandoning their shopping carts.

Pricing starts at $2,000 a month, and includes 250,000 Web page views and 50,000 emails distributed through the Manticore system.
