Microsoft Closer To Worldwide Rollout Of On-Demand CRM App
The Community Technical Preview 3 (CTP3) release is aimed primarily at Microsoft's software development partners, including ISVs, VARs, hosting partners and systems integrators who build applications around Dynamics CRM. CTP3 gives them an opportunity to begin early development and testing of their solutions, Microsoft said.
The technical preview, code-named "CRM5," is available both as on-premise software and online versions hosted in data centers in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
Currently the on-demand version of Dynamics CRM, Dynamics CRM Online, is available only in the U.S. and Canada. Making the CTP version available through data centers around the world is a preliminary step toward making Dynamics CRM Online available in EMEA, APAC and Latin American countries, according to Microsoft.
Some 400 select partners are involved in the CTP3 program and Microsoft said that number would be expanded over the next couple of months.
The new release of Dynamics CRM will support more than 40 languages, have more deployment options, and offer improved user productivity and collaboration capabilities, said Brad Wilson, general manager of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, in a statement.
More information on the CTP3 program is available at the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Team Blog site.
