Microsoft Updates Mac Office 2004 With SP1

Like most such updates, Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Office is a cumulative set of security and critical updates that have been previously posted individually.

"Customers are encouraged to download SP1; it addresses potential security issues and bugs," Microsoft said in a statement.

The suite, which hit the shelves in May, is the second OS X-native application bundle from Redmond. It includes Word 2004, Excel 2004, PowerPoint 2004, Entourage 2004, Virtual PC for Mac v. 7, and Microsoft's IM client, MSN Messenger, and browser, Internet Explorer.
