Salesforce.com Swings To A Profit
The San Francisco provider of Internet-accessible customer-relationship management software said net income for the fiscal quarter ended Oct. 31 was $2.2 million, or 2 cents a share, compared with a loss of $100,000, or 0 cents a share, in the same period a year ago. Revenues rose to $46.4 million, including $41.5 million in subscription and support revenues.
"We are pleased with the continued momentum we are seeing in our customer and subscriber base," said Marc Benioff, chairman and chief executive of Salesforce.com, said in a statement.
For the full fiscal year, Salesforce.com expects revenues in the range of $275 million to $285 million, or from 10 cents a share to 12 cents a share.
