20 Tech Companies Hiring In The IT Channel: December 2023

Diversified, SHI, Accenture, Verizon, MongoDB and Juniper Networks are among the companies to list open positions for channel-related roles.

This month, Diversified, SHI and Accenture are among the solution providers to list open positions while Verizon, MongoDB and Juniper Networks are among the vendors to list open positions for channel-related roles.

CRN has looked at open listings on LinkedIn that would bring talent into the channel—either by working with a partner or by working with a vendor to support partners.

Open Jobs In The IT Channel

Open roles include:

*A Diversified audio-visual on-site service technician

*A ServiceNow specialist making at least $60,000 a year at SHI

*An assistant producer of digital content making at least $37,200 a year at Accenture

*A Verizon indirect channel manager who can make at least $109,000 a year

*A public sector enterprise account executive at MongoDB

*An Americas channel operations manager who can make at least $99,000 at Juniper Networks

All the hiring comes despite multiple tech giants cutting their employee rosters amid growing inflation, the possibility of a recession in the near future and tightening IT budgets after high demand for technology during the height of the pandemic.

Here are some of the latest job openings in the channel.

Verizon

Verizon has an opening for an indirect channel manager who can make at least $109,000 a year, according to a LinkedIn listing.

The Basking Ridge, N.J.-based telecommunications vendor seeks someone to “provide critical support in driving sales and business growth for our Indirect Channel Partners in your respective territory while building relationships with multiple Indirect leaders and accounts and cater to their specific needs.”

The hire will monitor and evaluate “agent and overall channel sales performance for continuous improvement, analyzing market factors,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have a “bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience” and “willingness to travel 51% to 75% of your time within assigned territory.”

Juniper Networks

Juniper Networks has an opening for a virtual sales team manager who can make at least $112,000 a year, according to a listing this month on LinkedIn.

The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based networking products vendor seeks a new hire to “recruit, develop, structure and lead a new Virtual Sales Team in accomplishing the business’s long term strategic, operating, and financial objectives,” according to the listing.

The hire will “assist in facilitating and brokering deals that may involve channel conflict or competing interests both internally and with external partners.”

Candidates should have a “minimum of 5 years of sales experience, working with channel partners and leading a sales team of at least 6 employees,” according to the listing.

Juniper also seeks an Americas channel operations manager who can make at least $99,000 a year, according to a separate LinkedIn listing.

The manager “will be the Channel Operations business partner to the Americas Channel sales team, supporting the Juniper Partner Advantage (JPA) program for the region, with a clear focus on improving processes and the supporting tools to improve our partner organizations’ ease of doing business with Juniper,” according to the listing.

The hire is also charged with minimizing “administrative tasks for internal Partner Account Managers (PAMs)” and working “with the Channel Support Center (CSC) team in Bengaluru, India to provide partner/PAM support, being the first line escalation contact for the AMER CSC team, as well as working with the corporate and local country partner account teams, and importantly, Juniper’s 3rd party partner and distributor companies.”

Candidates should have “7+ years of relevant Sales Operations experience supporting the Channel & delivering quality operational projects,” according to the listing.

N-able

N-Able has a listing on LinkedIn this month for a senior sales engineer.

The Morrisville, N.C.-based provider of tools and services aimed at MSPs and IT departments seeks an engineer who will work on “accelerating product usage and removing technical buying objections to drive our business forward,” according to the listing.

The hire will “conduct Pre-Sales Product Demonstrations” and “assess and address client requirements during product deployment, ensuring a seamless experience.”

The vendor also has a listing for a security manager, according to LinkedIn. The manager “will provide security risk and compliance services to internal and external teams with the primary focus on protecting our products and enterprise in the cloud and on-premises,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have “10+ years security risk and compliance related roles” and “experience with compliance frameworks, specifically SOC2 and ISO27001,” according to the listing.

N-able has about 25,000 worldwide channel partners, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

Darktrace

Darktrace has an opening for a global alliances vice president, according to a LinkedIn listing this month.

The Cambridge, England-based security vendor wants the hire “to lead the Global Alliances program with Global System Integrators (GSIs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs),” according to the listing.

The hire “will be responsible for planning, building and driving the company’s strategy and business plan, and leading the Alliances team in the field” and “design and drive the Global Alliances program strategy, policies, interlocks, cadences and relationships that enable these partnerships to thrive with the GSIs, OEMs and MSPs.”

Candidates should have “15+ years of proven success in alliances/partnerships, sales, or marketing for B2B Enterprise IT companies,” according to the listing.

MongoDB

MongoDB has an opening for a public sector enterprise account executive.

The New York-based developer data platform vendor seeks an AE who will “work closely with the enterprise ecosystem partner sales and channel partner to maximize deal sizes,” according to the listing.

The hire will “identify, qualify and close a sales pipeline (100% net new logos)” and “participate in our sales enablement trainings, including our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp, sophisticated sales training, and leadership and development programs.”

Candidates should have “3+ years field experience of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on closing net new logos within the Department of Defense.”

MongoDB has about 1,000 worldwide channel partners and 400 in North America, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

Appspace

Appspace has a listing on LinkedIn this month for an enterprise account executive who can make at least $125,000 a year.

The Dallas-based workspace management software provider wants the AE to “be the go-to expert on Appspace in a collaborative sales approach with strategic technology and channel partners - finding, winning and delivering business,” according to the listing.

The hire will “build and execute on an innovative business plan with our strategic partners and channel community to meet and exceed customer needs.”

Candidates should have “7+ years experience in a sales and/or business development role in an information Technology capacity (Hardware, Software, Networking, etc.) with SaaS selling experience strongly preferred,” according to the listing.

GitKraken

According to a LinkedIn listing, GitKraken seeks a senior partner manager.

The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based developer tools vendor wants this hire to “be responsible for building, managing, and expanding our relationships with Atlassian’s Solution Partners,” according to the listing.

The manager will “develop and execute strategic plans to recruit Atlassian's Solution Partners” and “build joint go-to-market plans with a select group of Atlassian’s Partners.”

Candidates should have “5+ years of experience in partner management roles with a proven track record of success,” according to the listing.

Informatica

Informatica has an opening for a senior account executive, according to a LinkedIn listing.

The Redwood City, Calif.-based cloud data management vendor wants the AE to “collaborate with other teams, including pre-sales, professional services, marketing, channel management, finance, and customer support, and external parties such as GSI's and Channel Partners,” according to the listing.

The hire will “develop a strategic and comprehensive business plan for each account, including identifying core customer requirements and mapping the value/benefits of Informatica's solutions to customer requirements.”

A LinkedIn listing this month shows that Rewst has an open role for a lead product designer.

The Tampa, Fla.-based MSP-focused automation tools vendor wants the designer to “shape Rewst’s product experience for our users” and “help define our design vision, and build a team of talented designers around them,” according to the post.

The hire will “develop interactive prototypes to gather user feedback and conduct usability testing to iterate on designs and ensure optimal user satisfaction” and “actively engage in user research activities, including user interviews, surveys, and usability studies, to gain valuable insights into user behaviors and preferences.”

Candidates should “have 5 years of experience as a Product Designer,” according to the listing.
