Liongard CEO: ‘LiongardIQ Closes Doors Before The Attacker Even Knocks’

‘If you want to minimize risk, drive efficiency and increase your value to clients, this is your competitive advantage,’ says Michelle Accardi, Liongard CEO.

Liongard’s next-generation platform, LiongardIQ, enables MSPs to identify and close vulnerabilities before attackers can exploit them.

“Cybersecurity tools have long focused on post-breach response,” Michelle Accardi, Liongard CEO, told CRN. “But how do you control alert fatigue and improve operational costs if you’re always reacting? LiongardIQ is designed to close doors before the attacker even knocks.”

Launching in July, LiongardIQ integrates real-time visibility, centralized asset intelligence and advanced AI to address cyber resilience within IT environments.

“This is the Liongard you didn’t know you needed until now,” Accardi said. “We listened to our partners. They told us they need tools that help them be proactive, not reactive. LiongardIQ is our answer.”

Unlike traditional threat detection platforms, LiongardIQ is built to operate left of boom, focusing on preventative security. Features include unified asset intelligence, AI-powered asset summaries, real-time alerts and posture tracking, universal AI search, automated remediation and hardening as well as visual reporting.

Erick Olea, vice president of technology operations at Lake Forest, Ill.-based Impact Networking, said partnering with Liongard has helped the company’s revenue grow from $20 million to $130 million.

“Liongard has been instrumental in enhancing visibility within our client environments,” he told CRN in an email. “Liongard has been a treasure trove of data and, with the introduction of LiongardIQ, our Resilience Operation Center is thrilled to have this valuable data at our fingertips.”

Accardi said LiongardIQ is a foundational platform for the coming agentic AI era where systems self-heal and adapt through intelligent automation.

“You can’t build meaningful AI without reliable data,” she said. “LiongardIQ becomes the unified management database MSPs need to build automation on top of. We’re empowering them with trustworthy, actionable intelligence. Our mission has always been to protect our partners’ data. Our AI practices are no exception.”

In the next 12 to 18 months, Liongard plans to expand LiongardIQ’s functionality to include vulnerability management, risk prioritization and broader self-healing capabilities across cloud and hybrid environments.

“This is about making the lives of MSPs easier,” said Accardi. “From asking simple questions like, ‘Are all accounts MFA-enabled?’ to generating executive-level reports, LiongardIQ makes it effortless. If you want to minimize risk, drive efficiency and increase your value to clients, this is your competitive advantage.”
