HPE Canada Partner Of The Year Honor Is Testament To Delivering ’Measurable Business Results:’ Compugen CRO Jeremy Erlick

‘We have invested in deep technical expertise across HPE’s portfolio,’ says Compugen CRO Jeremy Erlick. ‘Our teams understand how you leverage the great HPE technology and initiatives and align them to customer business priorities.’

Jeremy Erlick, CRO of Compugen, Richmond Hills, Ontario, No. 68 on the 2026 CRN Solution Provider 500, says the secret to the company’s success as HPE Canada Partner of the Year is a razor-sharp focus on delivering “measurable business results” for customers.

“In the end we are what’s between the technology and what the customer wants to achieve with it,” said Erlick (pictured). “It’s people that make that work. We have invested in deep technical expertise across HPE’s portfolio. Our teams understand how you leverage the great HPE technology and initiatives and align them to customer business priorities. We have become very good at doing that with HPE.”

That formula continues to result in double-digit HPE sales growth for Compugen, which has been an HPE partner for more than four decades and has achieved the highest HPE partner tier, Triple Platinum Plus.

Compugen’s ability to simplify customer IT infrastructure with operational and financial discipline is driving success with HPE solutions, said Erlick. “Decisions around how to spend and what to spend are scrutinized more in this market,” he said. “The flexible consumption models that HPE offers are compelling. We are simplifying operations for our customers, especially as they get into more AI and data-driven initiatives. When we combine the innovation of HPE with Compugen’s service and solutions capabilities, that is a great partnership to help our customers navigate all of these priorities.”

Erlick said his company’s ability to dig deep into the business of each and every customer is critical to delivering measurable business results. “Companies aren’t buying infrastructure for infrastructure’s sake,” he said. “They are not buying technology for technology’s sake. They’re looking to improve their speed and agility. They’re looking to strengthen their security. They are looking to support new AI initiatives. They are looking to reduce their costs. They are looking to simplify their operations. There is always a goal. We are very good at mapping the HPE technology to our customer’s business outcomes. HPE’s portfolio is a very powerful platform that helps our customers achieve these outcomes.”

Erlick said another important formula for Compugen’s success is its focus on being a “technology ally” for customers. “What that means is we sit at the table with our customers and really help them achieve what they are trying to do.”

Compugen has developed a “highly collaborative” go-to-market relationship and unique “long-term partnership” with HPE, said Erlick. “We’ve got tightly integrated executive alignment,” he said. “We have field engagement between the sellers, presales and solution engineering teams. The teams operate with a shared commitment to delivering value to customers. That is why we keep succeeding with HPE.”

Erlick credited legendary Compugen founder and CEO Harry Zarek’s philosophy of picking your strategic partners carefully and then investing heavily in those partnerships for the 45-year-old company’s continued success. “You pick your strategic partnerships and you invest in them so you can do great things for customers with this great technology,” he said.

Erlick, who has worked with Zarek for 28 years, said Compugen continues to see “strong demand” for HPE solutions in a wide variety of areas, including data modernization and “AI-ready infrastructure,” cybsersecurity and hybrid cloud.

As for HPE Networking solutions, Compugen, a five-time winner of Aruba Networking Partner of the year, has now invested heavily in the Juniper Networks portfolio, said Erlick. “It’s a great adjacency and addition to where HPE can deliver value,” he said. “We’re capitalizing on it. We think it is a great addition to their networking technology stack and the value proposition for that business. We are going to work alongside HPE to continue to build value for our customers and grow the networking business.”

Ultimately, the success that HPE and Compugen have achieved together building innovative HPE solutions for customers is due to the “level of trust and alignment” between the two companies, said Erlick.

“HPE consistently demonstrates a commitment to innovation, partner enablement and customer success,” said Erlick. “They really understand the importance of partners to navigate and implement all of this technology. They have always been a very partner-focused organization as part of their go-to-market. It is in their roots. At Compugen, we bring the deep customer relationships and the deep consulting expertise with the ability to integrate HPE’s infrastructure with cloud, security, AI, and managed and life-cycle services for complete solutions. With HPE we move from strategy to execution for our customers.”
