ScalePad Acquires Quoter To Automate IT Sales Quoting, Contract Management

MSP-focused software vendor ScalePad has acquired a Canadian startup to make it easier to add quote-to-cash and contract management to its partners, making price quoting much more efficient and timely.

ScalePad said Tuesday it acquired Vancouver-based Quoter, the maker of a cloud-based quoting platform that helps MSPs save time, eliminate mistakes, and get paid faster. Its new contract management functionality even helps MSPs simplify agreement workflows and capture lost revenue.

Eric Torres, vice president of channel at Vancouver-based ScalePad, told CRN that Quoter was the missing piece that his company needed.

“One of the aspects of being the platform that we’d like to be for our partners is automating as much as possible,” Torres told CRN. “Getting into the quoting, invoicing and receiving of the end product was the last of what we’re working on.”

He said this will further help MSPs automate and get the time back they spend on quoting.

About 25 Quoter employees are coming over in the acquisition. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ScalePad’s previous acquisitions this year: AdeptMC, Lifecycle Insights, Cognition360 and ControlMap, and now Quoter, provides partners with an integrated revenue operations toolset purpose-built for MSPs.
