Aventail, Radware Launch Bundled Solution, Partner Rebate
Seattle-based SSL VPN maker Aventail and Mahwah, N.J.-based application switch vendor Radware are matching a cluster of up to six Aventail appliances with Radware's global high availability load balancing product for multi-site deployments, according to the companies.
Also, the two companies are providing channel partners that sell the bundle an additional 5 percent rebate, said Sarah Daniels, vice president of marketing and product management at Aventail.
The companies also are working together on marketing and sales support for partners to support the effort, Daniels said.
Paul Fiore, vice president of channel development at Radware, said the two companies have put together a very complete go-to-market strategy. "It's a very focused campaign," he said. "And this is a 100 percent channel play for us."
Dave Gilden, COO of Acuity Solutions, a Tampa, Fla.-based solution provider that partners with both Radware and Aventail, said the new bundle should lead to new business. "This is a nice upsell opportunity for us," he said. "We have a base of Radware customers and Aventail customers and this provides us with some great cross-sell opportunities."
