Samsung Releases New Monitor Styles

Samsung has made available four new monitor styles, including a 17-inch flat-panel model that boasts the smallest bezel in the industry.


The SyncMaster 171N 17-inch flat-panel features a bezel that measures 0.5 inches and a 1-inch profile, and has a removable base. The 171N can be lined side-by-side or stacked with other 171N monitors for continuous flow of data,suitable for financial institutions or any application where two displays are positioned together, according to the company.

The SyncMaster 172T is a high-end, 17-inch TFT monitor that features flicker-free image quality and a sleek cabinet design that routes interface cables through the stand, eliminating cable clutter. The 172T also features a stand that can be folded back and used as a wall mount bracket that measures 2 inches deep.

Samsung's SyncMaster 172B is a 17-inch, ultra-sleek, flat-panel monitor targeted to corporate, education and SMB markets. It offers 90-degree screen tilt, a one-inch panel profile and built-in multimedia speakers.

The SyncMaster 957mb, a 19-inch CRT monitor, is the latest addition to Samsung's MagicBright family of monitors. The MagicBright line features three separate brightness modes designed for PC, Internet and entertainment applications,suitable for graphics professionals, motion video editors and PC and online gamers.
