Upshot Integrates CRM Solution With Microsoft Outlook

Salespeople now can download e-mails in Outlook into Upshot while online, including attachments. Based on an e-mail address, the e-mail is directed to the correct customer account within Upshot.

"Salespeople spend an awful lot of time in e-mail. A big part of their interaction with prospects and existing customers happens in e-mail," said Keith Raffel, chairman and founder of Upshot, based here.

About 90 percent of the salespeople using Upshot also use Microsoft Outlook, Raffel said.

UpShot already has a built-in link between its Web-based CRM solution and Microsoft productivity applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
