Nortel Names Collins To Head Enterprise Networks Business

Collins, a 10-year Nortel veteran, formerly served as senior executive for Nortel's United Kingdom and Northern European region.

He will oversee business development, products, marketing and sales for the Enterprise Networks business and will report to Frank Dunn, president and CEO of Nortel, Brampton, Ontario.

The position has been vacant since it was created in October. At that time, Nortel reorganized and divided its Metro and Enterprise Networks business unit into two separate units: Wireline Networks and Enterprise Networks.

Oscar Rodriguez, president and general manager of enterprise solutions; Robert Burke, president of enterprise marketing; and Steve Schilling, president of enterprise accounts, will all report to Collins, according to a spokesman.
