Daisytek International
Mike Scannell has been named president of U.S. operations; Peter Wharf is president of international operations, excluding Europe; and Bruce Robinson will oversee Europe once Daisytek's acquisition of ISA International is completed.
"Creating distinct operating units puts us ahead of the curve to manage growth opportunities," Powell said in a statement. "These moves position Daisytek to go to the next level in our 25-year history of corporate growth with the potential for increased revenues and profits."
Before accounting for the consolidation of ISA, Daisytek expects revenue in the range of $1.3 billion to $1.4 billion, with revenue growth in the United States of 10 percent to 15 percent and internationally of 15 percent to 20 percent.
Upon completion of the ISA acquisition, Daisytek anticipates another $510 million in revenue, to about $1.8 billion to $1.9 billion for fiscal 2003.
