Comstor To Distribute Polycom IP Telephony Solutions

Comstor, a Chantilly, Va.-based subsidiary of Westcon Group, will carry the SoundPoint IP 500CS, a standards-based desktop phone that interoperates with Cisco Systems CallManager, as well as the SoundStation IP 3000, a 3Com NBX conference phone.

Comstor also carries other voice and video communications solutions from Milpitas, Calif.-based Polycom.

The SoundPoint IP 500CS meets Cisco AVVID program requirements for interoperability. The SoundStation IP 3000, an IP voice conferencing tabletop unit that integrates with 3Com's NBX 100 and SuperStack 3, gives users access to NBX features previously available only on desktop phones, according to Comstor.
