ChannelAdvisor Gets Cash Infusion From eBay, Others

Based here, ChannelAdvisor's services are designed to help clients, typically hardware companies, looking to sell large amounts of year-old, refurbished or returned products on eBay, and to help them juggle hundreds or thousands of simultaneous auctions.

In November, Acer signed on with ChannelAdvisor to sell PCs and other hardware on eBay. Some of ChannelAdvisor's other vendor clients are IBM, Ingram Micro and Iomega.

ChannelAdvisor also works with consumer-electronics manufacturers such as Kodak, and with companies selling non-IT products on eBay.

Atlantis Group, Genesis Venture Partners, Southern Capitol Ventures and Tri-state Investment Group are the other investors participating in the financing.

ChannelAdvisor officials would not divulge the amount of funding coming from each of the participants.
