Apple Reportedly Files Patents For iPhones
Forbes has reported that Prudential Equity Group analyst Jesse Tortora said "recent checks" lead him to believe the company will sell a smart phone and a music phone as early as January 2007. Forbes reported that Tortora said one would include wireless connectivity.
AppleInsider said the company filed for a trademark in a "Southeast Asian country" Sept. 15. Macworld had similar reports.
A receptionist at Prudential said Tuesday that Tortora was not taking calls from media. Apple has not commented on the plans.
