Electrograph Opens West Coast Service Center
The Hauppage, N.Y.-based company acquired International Computer Graphics last June and took over facilities in City of Industry, Calif., providing a venue for a services center. Electrograph also has a service center at its Long Island, N.Y., location.
VARs that have purchased displays or other products from Electrograph can send them to the distributor's service centers for repairs rather than to the manufacturer.
"This is really important because previously if somebody was on the West Coast they have to ship all the way to Long Island. This cuts down on response time and shipping costs," said Melody Craigmyle, vice president of marketing at Electrograph. "This is something we do just to provide value to the resellers 100 percent."
VARs can ship damaged or malfunctioning products to one of Electrograph's service centers for repair. The distributor is authorized to service products by manufacturers including Pioneer, Panasonic, NEC, Philips, LG/Zenith and Samsung.
