Two HP Gold Partners To Merge

The merged companies will operate under the Evergreen Systems name with both companies sharing ownership in the new entity. Although they said more details of the merger would be released at a future date, Evergreen and NDW said they complement each other with no overlap in their business operations and staffing for the combined companies would essentially stay the same.

Evergreen and NDW are both HP gold partners. Evergreen, based in Sterling, Va., specializes in IT service management consulting with a focus on ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices. The company's technology implementation division resells and implements HP's BTO line of products, including the HP Service manager and HP AssetCenter.

NDW (also known as Net.Works), headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah provides a range of client and data center automation services. The solution provider implements HP's client and server automation software, including its Opsware and Radia products.

The combination of Evergreen and NDW will create a major channel partner for HP's BTO solutions, said Scott Strubel, HP director Americas software alliances and channels, in a statement. "Their combination will add tremendous value to HP software customers."
