N-Able Offers Managed Services Platform To Microsoft VARs - For Free
N-central Express includes many features found within N-able's N-central platform, including Web-based administration of multiple customers from a single dashboard and automated software updates, script execution and defrags, according to the Ottawa-based company.
Solution providers can remotely monitor and manage up to 10 IP-enabled devices through its interface, as well as identify and resolve problems with desktops, servers and other devices.
"We are debuting N-central Express to Microsoft partners to fuel the adoption of managed services throughout North America," says Gavin Garbutt, president and CEO of N-able, in a statement. "By removing any barriers to entry, N-central Express makes it easy for solution providers to take that first step and start quickly automating their IT services and incorporating remote monitoring and management services into their solutions portfolio. This offering is certainly a first for the managed services industry, as well as N-able."
Earlier this year, N-able Technologies and Microsoft announced a partnership that would facilitate the integration of N-central and System Center Essentials 2007, as well as provide each partner community with the resources necessary to build a successful managed services practice, according to Garbutt. The announcement of N-central Express will be the first of several N-able offerings targeted at Microsoft partners, he added.
N-able will host a free Webinar for Microsoft partners on April 15 to "demystify" IT automation and managed services. The Webinar features N-able executives as well as a Microsoft solution provider, according to N-able.
