IBM Channel Partners Prolifics And Atrium Solutions To Merge
Prolifics, a leading systems integrator specializing in IBM technologies, has acquired IBM business partner Atrium Solutions in a move that will expand Prolifics' business process management and information management services.
New York-based Prolifics did not disclose the cost of acquiring Irvine, Calif.-based Atrium.
Atrium's forte is enterprise content management with particular expertise with IBM's FileNet content management software. Prolifics, in a statement, said that would help the company "extend its market reach with a wider breadth of offerings across the IBM software portfolio."
Prolifics is a Premier Level IBM business partner.
With the Atrium acquisition, Prolifics can provide its customers with content management, case management and compliance solutions, the company said. "Atrium's industry solutions for healthcare, financial services, and energy and utilities have helped clients automate the capturing and processing of complex business content such as customer self-service requests, claims processing and procure-to-pay – and will augment Prolifics' strength in those core areas."
Prolifics and Atrium teamed up on several projects in the past, Prolifics CEO Satya Bolli said in the statement.
"Both companies have the same commitment to [their] customers, outstanding technical excellence, and proven results helping customers solve complex business problems with reliable technology solutions built on an IBM foundation," said Fred Shaygan, Atrium executive director, in the statement.
