IBIS Is Latest MBS Partner To Expand

This week, IBIS, a Norcross, Ga.-based Microsoft Business Solutions and Microsoft Gold Certified solution provider, said it is opening new offices in the Gulf states, mid-Atlantic, and New York/New Jersey and New England areas.

The expansion should give IBIS, and by extension Microsoft, more feet on the street in more localities.

But IBIS, unlike Tectura, EYT/ePartners, Interlink and some other MBS partners, is expanding organically, not via acquisition.

"I want to be the poster boy for organic growth," IBIS CEO Andy Vabulas previously told CRN .

IBIS, with traditional strengths in Great Plains accounting/ERP applications as well as Microsoft infrastructure products, is also building expertise in the Axapta ERP lineup, the company said. Microsoft bought Axapta in a $1.3 billion acquisition of Navision two years ago. It has also built up its Microsoft CRM business in the past year.
