Tech Companies Dominate 'Best Places to Work'

For the sixth consecutive year, Glassdoor.com has analyzed and compiled a list of the "Best Places to Work," based on employee reviews. A total of 11 Technology companies, from NetApp to Google, appeared on the list of 50 businesses.

Employees voluntarily rated their companies on the website, giving grades for "Culture and Values," "Work/Life Balance," "Senior Management," "Compensation and Benefits," and "Career Opportunities." Employees also approved or disapproved of their CEO and answered whether they would recommend the company to a friend.

Employees offered detailed, candid reviews, often praising technology companies for challenging work, dynamic team atmospheres, and decent to great compensation. Complaints were generally directed at demanding/erratic hours and companies going through transitional periods.
