UXC Eclipse Acquires Tectura To Widen Global Microsoft Dynamics Reach
UXC Eclipse, the U.S. branch of Australian UXC Limited, is already part of the Microsoft Inner Circle, the top 1 percent of Microsoft Dynamics resellers, but with the acquisition of Tectura, which also has a robust Microsoft Dynamics business, UXC takes another step toward to the top.
"This acquisition is strategic to UXC Eclipse's goal to be the leading Gold Microsoft Dynamics Partner worldwide and to leverage on our existing success in markets across Australian, the Pacific and the Americas," Bradley Stroop, global chief executive officer, UXC Eclipse Group, said in a statement.

Marty Wolf, president of martinwolf M&A Advisors, which advised Tectura on the acquisition, told CRN that the deal is very significant in the Microsoft space, following a pattern of consolidation to create larger pools of capital and extend reach. Wolf said this is the ninth acquisition he's advised on in which the companies were looking to buy into the U.S, and he predicted there would be many more to come.
"I think it's a lot of consolidation driven by cross-global enterprise customers," Wolf said. "My estimate is that [the trend] will accelerate."
In addition to its global customer base, Tectura brings experience in verticals, such as life sciences and manufacturing, in the Americas where UXC Eclipse hopes to further expand its Microsoft Dynamics reach. UXC Eclipse already is embedded in the retail, mining, asset intensive and print industries, but it is looking to expand beyond those verticals, the company statement said.
"There is a deep synergy between the UXC Eclipse and the Tectura North America teams and our approach to the Microsoft Dynamics marketplace. We have a common ethos of customer service. Bringing this focus on quality service together and aligning our industry market offerings means we're a formidable partner in the Microsoft Dynamics community across the Americas," David Weiner, CEO of UXC Eclipse North America, said in a statement.
The acquisition brings the UXC Eclipse global headcount to more than 600 employees with more than 2,700 customers.
