CRN Channel Madness Quarterfinals: Can We Call It A Comeback?

We're less than two hours away from the close of quarterfinal voting in the CRN Channel Madness Tournament of Chiefs, and there's a fierce battle underway in Round 3.

With titles up for grabs in the Infrastructure, Hardware, Cloud and Software regions, it's now or never for the Enterprise Eight.

In the Cloud region, VMware's Frank Rauch is trying to orchestrate a comeback. He has picked up 16 points since yesterday in his head-to-head with Verizon's Adam Famularo, but Famularo still leads 58 percent to 42 percent. This one is the most heavily voted contest of the round so far.

In the Software region, Microsoft's Jenni Flinders has picked up seven points against IBM's Marc Dupaquier, but Dupaquier still leads 67 percent to 33 percent.

In the Infrastructure region, Shannon Sbar of APC by Schneider Electric extended her lead by two points and is now ahead of F5's Jim Ritchings 55 percent to 45 percent.

And in the Hardware region, Sophos's Mike Valentine appears unbeatable, leading Ruckus's Ron Gill 63 percent to 37 percent.
