CRN Channel Madness Final Round: Sophos' Valentine Trails Verizon's Famularo

The final match-up of the CRN Channel Madness Tournament of Chiefs is underway, with less than 24 hours of voting remaining.

Sophos's Mike Valentine, the winner of the Hardware region, is squaring off with Verizon's Adam Famularo, the victor in the Cloud region, with the championship at stake. Voting opened Monday afternoon and continues through Wednesday morning.

We're into the second half of this round, and so far Famularo is proving tough to beat. Using a game strategy that has worked well for him in each of the last two rounds, Famularo came out strong right at tip-off and hasn't let up. He currently leads 76 percent to Valentine's 24 percent.

But Valentine has already showed his mettle in the competition, breaking ties in each of the first two rounds to eventually earn decisive victories.
