NetSuite Dangles Half-Off Deal To Salesforce Users

NetSuite's offer, good through March 31, will beat any estimate by Salesforce.com by 50 percent for new customers, and will cut the renewal price for customers re-upping to Salesforce.com's professional and enterprise editions. NetSuite said it would also offer a slate of free data migration services to existing Salesforce.com users who take the San Mateo, Calif.-based company up on its offer.

Salesforce.com claims a customer base of approximately 13,300 customers and about 214,000 paying subscribers, while NetSuite boasts that some 7,000 companies use its online software.

Salesforce.com charges $65 per user per month for its enterprise edition, and $125 per user per month for its professional version. Current or potential Salesforce.com customers thinking of defecting would receive access to NetSuite's NetCRM for as little as $37.50 per user per month.
