AccountabilIT Buys Arkansas-Based MSP ClearPointe

This is the second acquisition for AccountabilIT since it was founded in 2016.

AccountabilIT said that it acquired solution provider ClearPointe on Monday in a move that it says will create a comprehensive and advanced IT company to meet the demands of the market.

ClearPointe is a Little Rock, Ark.- based solution provider that specializes in cloud-based transformation and migrations, as well as managed services.

“This acquisition is critical in providing AccountabilIT with additional scale and experience needed to maintain our position in the industry,” said Chuck Vermillion, CEO and founder of the Scottsdale, Ariz. based AccountabilIT. “We are thrilled to add ClearPointe’s leadership to our organization. Our strategy will continue to be the same; care about our customer’s success as much as we care about our own company. We will lead this market, one customer at a time.”

This is the second acquisition for AccountabilIT since it was founded in 2016.

ClearPointe offers managed services for data centers around the world, and currently manages servers, applications, and connectivity in both public and private clouds, hybrid clouds as well as on-premises data centers.

“There are tremendous synergies by combining our two organizations,” Jeff Johnson, CEO and founder of ClearPointe said in a statement. “ClearPointe is a leader in Microsoft centric services including Azure-based solutions and Azure management. AccountabilIT’s competencies in application management, database administration, Linux administration and managed security are the perfect complement to our services.”

Neither company could be reached for comment. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Financing for the transaction was provided by WestView Capital Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm.

AccountabilIT bills itself as a leader in providing application management, database administration, cloud transformation and cloud managed services.
