DXC Pushes For ServiceNow Dominance With TESM, BusinessNow Acquisitions

On the heels of a recent ServiceNow-related acquisition wave, DXC Technology announced its has purchased two more ServiceNow partners, TESM and BusinessNow.

DXC Technology wants to take its ServiceNow business up another two notches. The solution provider on Monday announced it has acquired TESM and BusinessNow, two leading ServiceNow partners.

The two deals are the latest in a string of recent ServiceNow-related partner acquisitions. Solution provider Champion Solutions Group last month announced the acquisition of enterprise solution provider systemiC to expand its ServiceNow capabilities. NTT Data Services in October also revealed plans to buy Canadian IT consulting company Sierra Systems to boost its expertise in areas including Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle and ServiceNow.

Terms of DXC Technology's TESM and BusinessNow acquisitions were not disclosed.

Tysons, Va.-based DXC Technology is now the owner of UK-based TESM, a global ServiceNow Gold partner founded in 2013, and BusinessNow, a large, independent ServiceNow partner in Demark and Switzerland that was founded in 2014. DXC said that the two new additions reflect its commitment to its growing ServiceNow practice.

“TESM and BusinessNow add a unique set of skilled people, IP and aligned offerings which will further enable DXC enterprise clients to leverage the ServiceNow platform as a foundation for enterprise-wide digital transformation,” Dan Stoks, vice president of DXC Technology's global ServiceNow practice, said in a statement. "Our cultural match, shared vision and capabilities on the ServiceNow platform will greatly enhance our ability to address rapidly growing customer needs across Europe, the UK and around the world.”

ServiceNow, a cloud-based IT service management (ITSM) platform developer, lets users manage their operations in an as a service model, including the management of areas such as security, customer service, software development, facilities, field service, marketing, and finance. The ServiceNow platform can integrate with third-party tools.

DXC Technology, for its part, last year bought Netherlands-based Logicalis SMC, a service management consultancy specialist that was the first European company to become a ServiceNow Master Solutions partner. In 2015, the company expanded its ServiceNow practice via its Fruition Partners purchase.

DXC today is a ServiceNow global strategic partner and has been a part of the ServiceNow ecosystem for 12 years.
