Microsoft Partner Sa.global Acquires Chicago MSP, Stregthening North American Presence

Microsoft partner Sa.global has acquired Dynamic Consulting to expand and strengthen its North American reach through its Microsoft Business Applications platform, further assisting business’ move to the cloud.

“At Dynamic Consulting our mission is to deliver these amazing results for our customers,” Sa.global Jonathan Stypula told CRN. “We were doing great and we were growing and profitable and in a wonderful position, but our customers wanted more from us.”

Stypula was president of Chicago-based MSP Dynamic Consulting and is now president of sa.global Americas.

As a partner, Microsoft was also wanting more from Dynamic Consulting so that they could bring them more leads.

“We couldn’t grow fast enough to meet that need,” he said. “Sa.global had that scale for us to accelerate and build off of the good work we’ve already done.”

It was also a perfect fit, he said, because of the firm’s culture and 30-plus year history in the industry.

“We wanted to go somewhere that felt like home,” he said. “For us, we are be able to take the good work we‘re doing and amplify it through sa.global. It felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity.”

Sa.global is heavily focused on Microsoft as was Dynamic Consulting. From the entire business application stack, sa.global has a deep history in Microsoft offerings that Stypula believes will strengthen Dynamic Consulting’s operations.

“The coming together of two great managed partners in the US is good news for our mutual as well as future clients,” Peter Jensen, director of partner strategy and business development at

Microsoft, said in a statement. “Combined, we believe that sa.global and Dynamic Consulting are strongly positioned to deliver excellent digital business transformation outcomes for our clients.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Dynamic Consulting will take on the parent company’s name. Thirty-two employees and about 10 contractors came along with the acquisition.

Sa.global operates in 25 countries with a large strategic focus on North America.

Sa.global had a franchise model with a company in North America. That franchise divested and broke up, Stypula said. After that, sa.global needed further representation in North America, so they hired a team and soon after acquired Dynamic Consulting.

“We’re kind of a new organization here in North America, but at the same time sa.global has had a presence [in North America] through a franchise model for years,” he said.

Sa.global is an 11-time winner of the Microsoft Partner of the Year award, a 10-time member of Inner Circle, and the world’s largest independently owned global provider of Microsoft business solutions to the professional services industry, according to a news release.

Dynamic Consulting is one of Microsoft’s 25 Managed Partners in the US and serves about 250 clients with focus on project manufacturing, industrial equipment manufacturing and field service organizations.

Although sa.global is a worldwide company, Stypula stressed that it tailors its business model to local regions.

“This acquisition showcases that importance to their global strategy,” he said. “We hope to continue to support and grow market share in North America but really around the world. Sa.global has a lot of global customers with American operations, and Dynamic Consulting had a lot of American customers with global operations, so I think this acquisition will help make that a seamless transaction for our customers. They can work with one partner into 25 countries, and we‘ve done implementations in 80 countries, so our experience and our reach is really profound.”
