CA Technologies Promises New Commitment to Channel

CA Technologies SVP and Channel Chief Alyssa Fitzpatrick wants to change the company’s reputation in the channel, and according to her, that plan is already in the works.
’It is a new era for CA. We are changing who we are as a company, and all of the new leadership who has come into the company, they come from a background where partnering was very relevant to their business," Fitzpatrick said.
Fitzpatrick is one of those executives, and the new blood in the company is an important early phase of CA’s two-year channel program overhaul.
’The first step for me is accomplished, because I don’t have to change the mindset of our executives that are here leading the company,’ she said.
Overall, Fitzpatrick said the goal of the program revamp will be to reinstate the lost trust between CA and the partner community, through open communications about business strategy from the get-go.
’Trust is core. Trust is probably the most important thing we can build with our partners,’ Fitzpatrick said. ’Given our varied past and the behavior we have had through the years at CA, the first thing we need to do in order to build trust is establish how we work together.’
