Channel Beat: Another Citrix Exec Leaves As Acquisition Rumors Heat Up

Another high-ranking executive said adios to Citrix Systems this week, and rumors around an acquisition of the company continue to swirl.

Marketing Vice PresidentMatthew Morgan is the latest in a line of executiveswho have departed the company and announced plans to leave over the past few months. Morgan has jumped to startup Hortonworks.

And Wall Street analysts speculate that Citrix might soon follow in the steps of big data companyInformatica, which was bought out by a private equity firmfor $5.3 billion this week.

Storage and security company Barracuda Networksrevamped its partner program this week, adding a new level and MSP program. A little more than 100 partners will move into a new Premiere partner level, and all partners will have access to a rebooted partner portal and training.
