Cirrity Offers 20 Percent Margins On Cloud Services

Cirrity CEO Steve Vicinanza promises partners margins up to 20 percent with its cloud services offerings, which include disaster recovery, backup and virtual desktop, among others.

Vicinanza said Cirrity, which is a 100 percent channel company, depends on its partners’ success for its own growth.

’What we’ve found is one of the biggest problems that VARs have in selling cloud services is transforming their businesses because they’re used to a transactional-based model of sales,’ he said.

Cirrity’s partner program takes a multidimensional approach to help partners pivot to the cloud, which includes a series of Web training videos, customizable email and social media campaigns, and compensation goals and plans for partners to share with their sales teams.

Cirrity runs lean and automated, (it doesn’t own any of its own data centers), so it can promise higher margins for partners than they may be able to achieve with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, he said.

The company also promises a more intimate, hands-on relationship with partners because of its 100 percent channel focus.

’We’re not servicing the world, we’re only servicing resellers,’ said Vicinanza.
