Lenovo on Monday unveiled its entry-level ThinkPad X120e notebook, which the company will launch at CES this week.

Designed for business users and emphasizing portability, the ThinkPad X120e offers 30 percent longer battery life than previous Thinkpad models. It includes an 11.6-inch screen and a full-size keyboard a Webcam, VGA, 3 USB ports, a 4-in-1 multicard reader, an HDMI port and support for Energy Star 5. ’Mobile users no longer have to trade battery life for great graphics performance,’ Chris Cloran, corporate vice president and general manager of AMD's Client Division AMP Products Group, said in a statement. ’AMD Fusion APUs allow for thinner, cool-running devices that can last the day and do what is demanded of today’s professional.’

Lenovo began offering ThinkPad Edge series notebooks with AMD processors last year at CES. In August, Lenovo unveiled itsThinkPad Edge 13 notebook with AMD Vision technology , which runs on a 1.5GHz dual core Athlon Neo X2 CPU and Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics.

Lenovo and AMD both see big opportunities in the SMB market and have partnered to encourage resellers to take advantage of opportunities in this space.

Lenovo plans to bring two other ThinkPad models to market in the spring. The ThinkPad Edge E220 and E420 will be available in April through Lenovo's Web site and through select partners, at a starting price of approximately $899 and $749 respectively.
