Net At Work Continues Acquisition Spree With AppSolute Buy
Customers ‘gain access to Net at Work's broader solutions portfolio and the strength of a larger team,’ Net at Work Co-President Alex Solomon says.
Just seven months after its last acquisition, solution provider Net at Work has grown its managed services, Sage and Acumatica practices with the purchase of fellow New York-based IT services firm AppSolute Consulting Group.
Net at Work–No. 246 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500–will take on all the clients, employees and consultants associated with AppSolute, according to a statement Monday. The companies did not disclose financial terms of the deal.
“By joining forces, we can offer AppSolute clients, who have come to expect white-glove service from knowledgeable, trusted IT professionals, an opportunity to move forward with the same level of continued care from familiar team members,” Alex Solomon, co-president and co-founder of Net at Work, said in a statement. “They will gain access to Net at Work's broader solutions portfolio and the strength of a larger team to help them achieve their business goals faster.”

AppSolution Acquisition
CRN has reached out to Net at Work for comment.
Sage and Acumativa, both enterprise resource planning (ERP) vendors, have partner programs. Newcastle, U.K.-based Sage’s top channel goals for 2025 include adding more qualified partners and increasing the overall percentage of company revenue that comes through the channel, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.
Bellevue, Wash.-based Acumatica has about 300 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.
AppSolute co-founders Bruce Baron and David Hoffman will join Net at Work as director of small and midsize business (SMB) products and services, overseeing the Sage 100 and Sage 300 practice, according to Net at Work.
“We have known Net at Work for a long time, and our two companies have substantial business and cultural synergy,” Baron said in a statement. “It is important to us that our clients and employees end up where their experience will be as personalized as it has been, while being enhanced with more resources and opportunities for growth.”
The AppSolute purchase comes after Net at Work revealed in January that it bought the Sage and Acumatica businesses of Ohio-based reseller e2b Teknologies.
Other recent acquisitions involving solution providers include 26North Partners buying AVI-SPL, Accenture buying Halfspace and Trace3 acquiring Ivoxy Consulting.
