Five New Partners That Achieved AWS Consulting Partner Status

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) is growing by leaps and bounds with new partners consistently joining the fray. At the same time, existing AWS partners are taking their partnership with the cloud giant to the next level by working toward AWS technical competencies in solution areas such as, IoT, AI, migration, security and DevOps, and industries including financial services, life sciences, and education.

Here are five new solution providers that have recently received their designation as an AWS Consulting Partner and those that have achieved a brand-new AWS technical competency.

HGC Achieves Advanced Technology Partner Status in APN

Telecommunications service provider HGC Global Communications Limited has earned Advanced Technology Partner status in AWS' partner network.

HGC had to demonstrate a strong AWS-based business and continue to differentiate to AWS customers to achieve its Advanced Technology Partner designation. The new status within APN demonstrates HGC can provide one-stop cloud and communications solution management to end customers, according to the Hong Kong-based provider.

InfusionPoints Joins APN As Standard Consulting Partner

InfusionPoints, a solution provider focused on security and cloud services, has been named a Standard Consulting Partner within AWS' Partner Network.

InfusionPoints, based in North Wilkesboro, N.C., said it will use its new status as an AWS partner to help customers to build, test and defend their workloads on AWS. Its customers will also have access to additional AWS support and training resources, InfusionPoints said.

Korean Solution Provider Megazone Earns Education Competency

Megazone, the largest AWS Premier Consulting Partner in the APAC region, has gained the AWS' Education competency.

Megazone, based in Seoul, South Korea, offers managed cloud services to universities and other education institutions, as well as education technology companies. The company already has earned several other AWS competencies, including the Marketing and Commerce Competency, the Migration Competency, and the Financial Services Competency. Megazone is the first solution provider in the APAC region to earn the education competency from AWS, the company said.

Symmetry Named Advanced Consulting Partner

IT and managed services provider Symmetry is now an Advanced Consulting Partner in the APN.

The Brookfield, Wis.-based MSP specializes in application management, hybrid cloud hosting, and governance, risk, and compliance solutions. The company said that its new partner status shows that Symmetry is successfully helping enterprises design, build, migrate and run critical enterprise applications, including SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA, in a public cloud environment.

TEKsystems Has A New DevOps Competency

TEKsystems, a Hanover, Md.-based solution provider in September achieved the DevOps Competency as an Advanced Consulting Partner in the APN.

TEKsystems offers DevOps and Automation services that take a "hands-on" approach toward changing the culture of a business with new technology and bringing together development and infrastructure teams to work towards the same goal, according to the company. TEKsystems' DevOps continuous integration and continuous delivery offering is based on AWS.
