Microsoft Gold Partner Quisitive Teams Up With Jumptuit In Blockchain Partnership

Pure-play Microsoft cloud partner Quisitive is partnering with Software-as-a-Service provider Jumptuit to build a blockchain-based solution to help enterprises manage subscription tracking and searching in Microsoft Azure.

Jumptuit specializes in delivering pertinent data to users on the go on their mobile or wearable devices. The company uses artificial intelligence technology, including natural language processing, machine learning, and blockchain technology to quickly and securely find documents, photos, audio and video files. The SaaS company supports popular cloud services, including Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft OneDrive.

Quisitive will offer the back-end blockchain solution that Jumptuit will use to help businesses better track and manage entitlement access to their information assets across their different business units, the two companies said Monday.

Jumptuit's existing solution can stitch together a user's different cloud properties where they may have information stored, such as Google, Facebook and Dropbox, and then use Microsoft's AI capabilities to carry out sophisticated search requests. Jumptuit needed a way to manage access and permission for these types of searches for enterprises, Scotty Perkins, senior vice president, product innovation for Toronto-based Quisitive, told CRN.

"Jumptuit asked Microsoft who the premier partner was in this space, and Microsoft recommended us," he said. "It's an excellent blockchain application."

The new solution will grant appropriate users access to a company's information assets and track that activity, Perkins said.

"[Quisitive's] technical blockchain expertise, along with our mutual relationship with Microsoft, makes them a natural choice to power this integration and infrastructure," Don Leka, founder and CEO of Jumptuit, said in a statement. "The from-scratch solution will allow users to link their various cloud and information services together, and from this we'll be able to securely provide them with hyper-relevant data insights."

Blockchain technology is still very new, especially for the purpose of entitlement management. Qusitive wants its enterprise customers to know that the technology is very real and available to create production solutions.

"Quisitive is available to build a solution like this for enterprise businesses, so if businesses are still investigating blockchain, we can explain in clear business terms what the technology is … and help [businesses] understand the possibilities and build a proof of concept."

In addition to having Gold status within the Microsoft partner program, Quisitive is a Microsoft National Solution Provider, Customer Engagement Alliance Member, and serves on the Partner Advisory Council and Azure Blockchain Advisor.
