Vorex: Solution To 'Clunky' Cloud Competitors
/**/ /**/
Vorex, previously a direct-sales-only cloud company, has launched a channel program with the help of COO Stuart Selbst.
Selbst has spent more than 25 years in the IT industry with particular focus on MSPs. He said Vorex’s move to the channel will help the company reach new markets.
"As a former MSP myself, I knew that everything ran through IT," Selbst told CRNtv. "The MSPs and the channel have a lot of say-so in the line of business applications that the end-user companies bring."
With its new referral program, announced this month, Vorex will take on giant competitors Autotask and Tigerpaw. "Bring 'em on," Selbst said.
"Our competitors are great products. I can't take anything in that away. But the feedback I've heard, and obviously utilized, is they're a little on the -- for lack of a better term -- clunky. They're big, they're bulky, they're hard to use," Selbst said.
Vorex promises more simplistic, streamlined products. Where customers might use 10 percent to 30 percent of competitors' products, Vorex promises to be an all-in-one solution.
"We wanted to develop a product where they use most of it. Where it's easy to use," Selbst said.
"We want to give people time back. We want to give them revenue that they're not finding," he said.
