Microsoft Inspire 2018: New Features Coming To Microsoft Azure Marketplace

At Microsoft Inspire 2018, Microsoft will unveil new marketplace capabilities aimed at helping the channel grow its business. CRNtv spoke with Charlotte Yarkoni, corporate vice president of Azure growth and ecosystems, about the details.

’For us, it’s all about connecting our partners to each other, connecting our partners better to us, and enabling customers to get that value. ... [We're] continuing to see increased partner presence on our marketplace and seeing the value of different types of solutions getting enabled that are coming from either us or our partners or multiple combinations thereof,’ said Yarkoni.

New features in the marketplace will include expanded consulting services, new private marketplaces that allow different partners to showcase solutions tailored to specific audiences, and integrated partner-to-partner capabilities where partners can co-sell together on the marketplace.

The first Azure Marketplace launched in 2014, followed by Microsoft AppSource in 2016. The marketplace attracts 2 million unique visitors every month with 150 new offers created by partners in the same time frame.
