Lenovo Taps Dell Exec for New Services Unit

Askew, formerly vice president of Dell's services business for the Asia Pacific and Japan regions, will report directly to Lenovo CEO William Amelio. Amelio, also an ex-Dell employee, joined Lenovo in late 2005 after serving as Dell's president of Asia Pacific and Japan.

And just last week Lenovo announced that two other Dell execs had come onboard.

David Miller, formerly president of Dell China, is now Lenovo's president of the Asia Pacific region and senior vice president of Lenovo. Miller will also be based in Singapore. Named president of Lenovo Japan Ltd. was Sotaro Amano, formerly Dell's corporate director of Japan Home and Business sales.
