Park Place Technologies Acquisition Spree Continues

‘As Park Place expands its unique portfolio of services to incorporate nearly every element of managing IT infrastructure, we want to provide more customizable options for our clients,’ says Park Place President and CEO Chris Adams.

Park Place Technologies completed its 17th company or major asset acquisition by purchasing SiteGrid’s inventory and logistics management solution, NetSure+, as Park Place continues to expand its portfolio to the next level.

Park Place Technologies, ranked No. 82 on CRN’s Solution Provider 500 list, has transformed itself over the past few years from a traditional data center maintenance company into a holistic IT infrastructure monitoring and management provider along with a slew of new flagship service offerings such as its ParkView Managed Services and Park Place Professional Services.

The Cleveland, Ohio-based company has consistently been doubling sales and its employee headcount on nearly an annual basis thanks to a slew of acquisitions and organic growth over the past five years thanks to its private equity partners Charlesbank Capital Partners and GTCR.

Park Place’s acquisition of NetSure+ marks the company’s 17th major purchase since 2016, including the acquisition of Curvature in late 2020 to create one of the world’s largest third-party maintenance providers. Although Park Place Technologies didn’t acquire SiteGrid as a whole, SiteGrid’s CEO Brett Ganey and his team of networking experts will soon become part of Park Place Technologies.

“As Park Place expands its unique portfolio of services to incorporate nearly every element of managing IT infrastructure, we want to provide more customizable options for our clients,” said Park Place President and CEO Chris Adams in a statement. “NetSure+ will help our customers optimize their maintenance spend and ensure the economic viability of support and sparing systems.”

NetSure+ is an inventory management and sparing solution that will be combined with Park Place’s networking maintenance services to deliver a low-cost, top-notch customer experience. By coupling customer-entitled spares with NetSure+ logistics capabilities and Park Place’s global footprint, customers will have access to a service not available via traditional maintenance programs, according to Adams.

Park Place’s OEM-compliant NetSure+ analytics and reporting functionality gives customers visibility to inventory levels, sparing compliance, warranty processing and consumption information in one location. By adding capabilities for customer-owned inventory, Park Place will now offer customers an OEM-compliant service to OEM maintenance support with total productive maintenance (TPM) savings.

“We have partnered with SiteGrid for the past year and deployed this solution to many of our customers, so we know this acquisition is a win-win,” said Adams.

Park Place has opened new and redesigned facilities across the globe in recent years including its headquarters in Cleveland, and offices in Houston; London; Singapore; Cork, Ireland; Argentina; and Malaysia. In April, the company launched new office and operations center in Massachusetts.

Park Place Technologies currently has over 21,500 customers in more than 150 counties.
